Sep 16, 2010 – Carol Gates and Claudia Sanchez of Terrie O’Connor Realtors, Allendale Group, will be volunteering their time to benefit the victims of the earthquake devastation that destroyed Haiti at the beginning of the year. They will be bartending at the Allendale Bar and Grill, 3rd floor bar area, in Allendale on Friday, September 24th at 9:00 pm. Donations will be accepted for the “Rose Foundation of Haiti” during this event. The earthquake occurred on January 12th of this year. By January 24th, at least 52 aftershocks measuring 4.5 or greater have been recorded. An estimated three million people were affected by the quake. The Haitian Government reported that an estimated 230,000 people had died, 300,000 had been injured, and 1,000,000 left homeless. They also estimated that 250,000 residences and 30,000 commercial buildings had collapsed or were severely damaged. The Real Estate “Dream Team” hopes you will join them for this special event.
